Edge series

personal work

Side tables, particularly those found in living room environments, can be expected to house a number of standard objects. Coffee table books, magazines, and coasters are all likely items that may be found cluttering up these tables’ surface. Edge hopes to free up some of this space by extending the reach of the table beyond its circumference. A cup, a vase, and a light, all items that would commonly dominate the surface availability of a side table, are now designed to be placed instead around the table, in provided gaps in the table’s outer edge. This lets the entire middle surface remain free for personal use, while providing a cohesively designed environment.
