In modern drafting, most of the process is digital. Those who have been a part of the trade since before todays technology have a strong sense of nostalgia attached to the tools they used, even though many admit that such tools were less efficient and sometimes cumbersome to use. The experience was elevated by the attachment formed between the draftsman and his or her tools. Rev 1 hopes to introduce aesthetic elements from vintage drafting tools into a modern workspace, allowing today’s drafters to experience the same feeling of connection that their predecessors had.
